Our cottage offers excellent holiday accommodation in Daylesford.
Geranium Cottage is situated in the Town Centre, only 250m from the GPO.  It is within easy walking distance to the restaurants, shops and lake (see Map/Information). 
You can relax in the comfort of the sunroom, or sit under the shade of the old oak tree while you enjoy the spectacular views of the town centre, Wombat Hill, The Boathouse and Lake Daylesford and the surrounding countryside.

This cottage has been recently renovated exposing the original pine lining boards, delicate cornices and ornate ceilings.  It has three large bedrooms, one with a queen size bed (which has superb views over Lake Daylesford and the ranges), the remaining two bedrooms each have two king single beds  (or 2 king double beds if preferable).  The 7 ^th & 8^th guests sleep on a sofa bed with an additional mattress for extra comfort. All clean, crisp linen is supplied as well as cosy doonas and extra blankets. A porta cot is also available.

SPA BATH

You can unwind and relax in the two person spa bath, situated in its own room. There is also an additional shower and vanity in the spa room. The Bathroom has a shower, vanity, long width mirror, toilet and laundry facilities.

 

FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN

The kitchen oodles old world charm with the original pine lined walls exposed, polished old floor boards and timber ceiling. The timber kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooking facilities, hot plates, grill and full oven, large fridge with freezer, microwave and dishwasher, toaster, kettle. All cutlery, dinner ware and cook ware provided. An extendable table can seat up to 8 guests.

 

The cosy lounge room leads onto a private patio, through glass double doors.  The lounge room has two couches and two arm chairs, comfortably seating 8 people. A TV and DVD player is provided, as well as lots of board games, cards and a well stocked book case. The cottage has gas wall heating with additional heating in the bedrooms for those cooler nights.

A private garden, is surrounded by hedge, and abounds in colourful geraniums and other plants. A small lawn area is at the front of the cottage, for any children who wish to play.

Undercover parking in the garage for 3 cars, and off street parking for another 2 cars is also available.

You have sole privacy and occupancy of the cottage whilst you are there.

 

This cottage is ideally situated, and caters for singles, couples or groups. You can relax in the cottage, enjoying the views, just read a book or play games; take a short stroll to the street to browse around the shops or have a meal in one of the many restaurants; go for a walk around Lake Daylesford and the mineral springs or even wander up to The Mill Antique centre to look for some bargains.
